Power Potentially Mafi

“We are in danger of losing power.”

These were the words which greeted me this sunny Juba morn. Now, since in Juba, you’re more or less always in danger of losing power between the city power failing or generators running out of fuel, etc., I was slightly unperturbed by my housemate’s assertion.

“Oh, hmm? Why is that?”

“The generator had fire last night.”

“Oh, tha– wait, WHAT? The generator was on fire?!”

“Yes. The generator, it went on fire. So now it cannot be used. So if city power goes out, power gone.”

“Power mafi. Err, great.”

So apparently my half-powered house (city power is not very strong) is in danger of complete power failure. Fan.tast.ic.
